Here you can connect with youth from the Presbytery of Eastern Virgina PC(USA), swap ideas with youth ministry leaders, and catch the latest from the Youth Ministry Team. If you are already connected to youth ministry within one (or more) of the 61 churches that make up our Presbytery, we invite you to register with this site so you can more fully participate in our network.
The New Shape of Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry has taken a new shape in PEVA. There are now two areas of youth ministry that are being directed through Makemie Woods and the Campus Minister at ODU who is also now the Youth Workers Networker.
The retreats will be coordinated by Makemie Woods and Event Specific Leadership Teams comprised of youth and youth workers within PEVA.
Youth workers will be meeting to network with one another in order to facilitate a better connection between church youth groups, as well as providing additional opportunities for activities, leadership, and other events.
